Telstra NextG Tested with Sonicwall & Vasco remote access solution

I have not been impressed with a new technology for a long time. We left Sydney on Monday morning and while travelling connected a laptop to our office via the Sonicwall SSL-VPN appliance.  I stayed connected all the way to Goulburn.  I had a remote desktop session running and opened email, browsed the net, downloaded files and carried out our normal work as if I was sitting in the office (there where two of us in the car).

I downloaded an 8 MB file in less that a minute at a rate of about 100KB/sec while travelling at 110km/h! We are now recommending this as a reliable solution for remote and mobile users. Ask us for more details.

Real-Time Monitoring Trial

Following last month’s release of our new Real-Time Monitoring Service, we are offering a “one-month-trial” of this service to all of our clients. This service will allow us to potentially identify problems at the earliest possible stage and proactively address issues before they cause network downtime. For Servers, everything from hard disk space, memory utilisation and event logs can be monitored, allowing corrective action to be scheduled at the earliest possible stage. This service complements any existing maintenance services currently provided. Click here for more details (PDF). Or Ask us for more details.
